Bronze Coins deal no direct damage and have no special effects; their sole function is economic utility within the game loop. Players must actively collect them from enemy corpses or environmental hiding spots to accumulate a balance. Strategic use involves managing this currency against the cost of vending machine items. Health packs are generally cheaper than infinite ammo, requiring players to prioritize survival versus offensive capability based on immediate threats. Against high-density enemy waves, stockpiling coins for infinite ammo is often the superior strategy. There are no upgrade paths or damage multipliers associated with Bronze Coins themselves. Their value remains static throughout the game, acting as a universal key to unlock temporary advantages that help survive the gauntlet of demons.
